Add Learning Unit

You can create a Learning Unit within any of the Content Areas. A Learning Unit is an organized collection of content that provides students with a structured learning path.

A Unit can contain documents, assignments, media files, website links, quizzes, and surveys. A Unit can be set to open in a new window to signify its distinct learning modules. Any Unit can also be set for viewing either in sequential order, or set to allow students to move through items in any order.

From the Control Panel:

  1. Click a selection from Content Areas
syllabus, course documents, lessons, assignments, external links
  2. Choose Learning Unit from the Select: drop-down list on the right side of the page under your selected Content Area and click Go .
  3. Under number one Learning Unit Information enter the title of your learning unit in the Name field.
  4. Enter optional information in the Text box area.
  5. Under number two Options you may make any desired changes and add optional date and time restrictions.
  6. Click Submit .
