Accessing Your Blackboard Course

Current Semester

Each semester, courses are automatically created for every course offered at EITC. Instructor and student enrollments are also automated. All courses are created with the status of "available". This means they are visible to everyone. Instructors must make each course unavailable if they are not ready for students to view the course.

Within one month after each semester ends, all the course sites from that semester will automatically be exported, archived, and removed unless students have an incomplete.

Past Semesters

Any Blackboard course that an instructor wants to reuse will be copied onto the server by the Blackboard staff. The Blackboard staff will contact instructors near the end of each semester. Instructors must respond to Blackboard administration to request their site be copied for use the next semester.
