Logging in to Blackboard

New to Blackboard?

If this is your first time using Blackboard, follow the instructions below for Setting Your Password.

Once you log in, you will be taken to the My EITC page. From here you can enter your Blackboard courses, send email and check grades. For more information on using Blackboard, check out the Moving Around Blackboard and Frequently Asked Questions.

Returning Blackboard User?

New accounts have been created for all EITC students. Your Blackboard Username may or may not be the same as one you used in previous semesters. However it is the same one you use for EITC lab computer access. If you have a question about this, ask an instructor. The Blackboard Password that you used in previous semesters at EITC is no longer valid.

Setting Your Password

Access Blackboard on campus from http://blackboard.eitc.edu or access Blackboard from off campus at http://bb.eitc.edu.
Click on the Login button
Enter your Username
In the Password box enter "password"
Click the OK button
Click the Personal Information link in the Tools box
Click the Change Password link
Enter the Password. You may want to use the same password as your EITC password.
Enter the same password again in the Verify Password box
Click the Submit button

Finding Your Courses

When you login to Blackboard you will automatically be taken to the My EITC page. Your Blackboard courses will be listed under the Courses box. Clicking on the name of the course will take you to the course site. Not all of your courses may be listed in the Courses box. It takes up to 24 hours from the time your enrollment is official for the Blackboard database to be updated. Also, not every instructor on campus is using Blackboard with their course. Only those courses where instructors choose to use Blackboard will be listed in the Courses box.
