IDAHO GEM STAMPING
GEM Stamped Courses in Idaho are courses that are accepted and transferable
between all participating Idaho Higher Education Institutions. These courses
will allow students greater flexibility should they ever transfer to another Idaho
Institution. A GEM course is a course that has been identified by an institution’s
faculty as meeting the competency requirements for one of the six competency areas,
which include Written Communication, Oral Communication, Mathematical Ways of
Knowing, Scientific Ways of Knowing, Humanistic and Artistic Ways of Knowing,
Social and Behavioral Ways of Knowing.
