PROVIDE POSTSECONDARY PROFESSIONAL TECHNICAL EDUCATION FOR
STUDENTS WHO PLAN TO ENTER FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT AFTER
COMPLETING A ONE OR TWO-YEAR CURRICULUM BY:
Teaching Business
Technologies courses including all components of Business Technologies
such as Leadership, Accounting, Small Business Management, Financial
Management, Entrepreneurship, and Business Presentations; teaching an
average of fifteen credit hours per semester; teaching classes composed of
students from diverse cultural, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds; selecting,
evaluating, and developing instructional materials and building the Business
Technologies curriculum; recruiting students; keeping student attendance
records; assisting students in setting goals based on their proficiency and
skills; provides advising services; making appropriate referrals; keeping
confidences and trusts; collecting and providing information on the Business
Technologies profession; assisting students with placement in and monitors
on-the-job training experiences; developing and promoting the Business
Technologies industry, and other appropriate agencies in regard to
innovations, updated technologies, career education/training methods and
materials, and important information sources; conducting evaluations of
student progress in relation to education goals and outcomes; keeping
accurate up-to-date records on student’s progress; ensuring compliance
with all appropriate policies and procedures concerning or affecting the
Business Technologies program; completing and submitting required
reports.

PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES THAT ENHANCE THE EDUATIONAL
EXPERIENCE OF STUDENTS BY:
assisting students to resolve problems
through referrals, intercession, advising, tutoring, or counseling; maintaining
classrooms, laboratories, and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly
manner; ordering and maintaining consumable supplies; conducting
inventories and controlling hand tools.

INTERACTION BY:
Meeting at least semi-annually with industry advisory council; promoting
EITC and the
Business Technologies program through media relations and community
presentations; maintaining a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and
work relationships with supervisor, instructional staff, students, and the
community; working in cooperation with other departments and employees
