Disability Resources & Services
The GOALS Program is for students ages 16-22 who are currently enrolled in or have exited Idaho Falls School District #91. Services focus on transition from high school to adult life, academic assistance at EITC, and community supports available to persons with disabilities. The GOALS Office is located in Room 339 or can be reached at (208) 524-3000, ext. 3376.
The Idaho State Department of Education currently publishes the Moving On Binder to assist high school youth with disabilities as they transition from high school to the adult world. This binder contains space for youth to include important information which they will need in the adult world - i.e., copies of high school IEPs and transition plans, test results which may document the presence of a disability, and the Summary of Performance which identifies a student’s strengths and skills upon high school graduation. The binder also includes space for students to include sample resumes, sample job applications, and sample accommodation requests. In addition, the Moving On Binder includes a number of local, state, and national resources.
