Region VI Tech Prep Coordinator
| Position: |
EASTERN IDAHO TECHNICAL COLLEGE is accepting applications for the grant-funded position of Region VI Tech Prep Coordinator. This is a full-time, State of Idaho position with generous benefits. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications.

| Duites: |
responsible for writing, administering, budgeting, and assessing grants; establishing and maintaining articulation agreements between EITC, other colleges, and regional high schools; ensuring course equivalency, delivery of quality professional-technical course sequences, and competencies; assisting with professional development of faculty in member schools; coordinating activities with Idaho Division of Professional-Technical Education and participating education administrations and faculties. Regular in-region travel is required.

| Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor’s degree (Tech Ed preferred); strong writing and verbal communication, and interpersonal and negotiating skills; teaching experience in secondary education; experience setting long-term goals and working collaboratively to achieve them; recognized ability to prioritize and multi-task; solid computer skills including Microsoft Office components; student-centered with strong penchant for helping people succeed.

| Additional Preferred Qualifications: |
Master’s degree in education or administration; Professional-Technical certification; experience in post-secondary education; successful track record of securing grant funds; self-starter with strong organizational, leadership and decision-making skills.
