Plan for Success
A counselor will meet with you to determine what your needs are. If you wish to explore new careers or acquire new skills, a career development plan is formed. If you are a student and want to insure success in your program or optimal placement in employment, the counselor will help you create a student success plan. In either case, a counselor will help you assess what your needs are often using a test such as The Career Assessment Inventory. You will also decide the steps you will take, including the support, services/classes you will need to reach your goal.
