FINANCIAL AID WORK-STUDY
Work-study is a part of your Financial Aid Award package, and you can earn up to what you have been awarded.
Work-study jobs are flexible and usually work around your school schedule. You will receive work-study money in the form of a pay check; so you use your money as you see fit. You earn work-study money; so you won’t have to pay the money back as you would for student loans. All work-study jobs are located on-campus; this eliminates travel time and travel expense.
Are you convinced? Now what?
- Come into the Financial Aid Office and complete an Eligibility Form.
- Next, complete a Work-Study Application.
Work-Study jobs are competitive. Once your application is complete, your information will be passed on to those departments looking for work-study students. They will contact you.
Most work-study positions are 20 hours or less per week at $6.75 per hour.
