Tech Prep

Participating High Schools

Tech Prep enables students to earn college credits at NO cost or LOW cost while they are still in high school. Tech Prep is an excellent way to jump-start a college education and may shorten the time and money needed to complete a college degree.

While Eastern Idaho Technical College is the administrative site for the schools in this region, the Tech Prep Coordinator works with all the state technical colleges to ensure the best opportunities available for students in this region. In addition to earning credits at Eastern Idaho Technical College, students may also qualify for college credits at Idaho State University, College of Southern Idaho, College of Western Idaho, Lewis Clark State College, and North Idaho College.

Regardless of the college issuing the credit, Tech Prep credits are TRANSFERABLE to other institutions of high education. Please check with your college admissions office for further guidelines on the transferability of your Tech Prep credits or visit the State of Idaho Board of Education website to understand how your credits may transfer to other colleges.
