All of our programs are conducted in a professional environment. Workforce Training Program representatives will work with your business to help develop training that meets your specific training objectives. For over 30 years, the Workforce Training Program has assisted in the design and delivery of customized training programs for businesses and organizations such as the City of Idaho Falls, Idaho National Laboratory, Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service, and technical call centers.
EITC works closely with regional economic development organizations such as the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce, Grow Idaho Falls, The Development Company, and the Regional Development Alliance. Workforce Training representatives will also assist your business in accessing Idaho's Workforce Development Training Fund (WDTF).
If your company is considering locating or expanding in Idaho, the Workforce Development Training Fund (WDTF) can help. Through the WDTF, your company may be able to receive funds to train new employees or upgrade the skills of current workers who are at risk of being permanently laid off. The WDTF has two primary objectives:
First, it provides funding to companies to help them train new employees so that the companies can take full advantage of specific economic opportunities and expansion initiatives in the marketplace.
Second, it allows for skills upgrade training of current workers who are at risk of being permanently laid off.
